Located in Orlando, FL String Theory Colorworks is the brain child of Caitlin, a biologist, and she specializes self striping yarns with lots of cool science-y names and attitudes! Each skein is hand dyed one at a time, using her years of lab experience to create a consistent, repeatable product that is still made by hand. Each skein has to go through her hands at least twice from beginning to end in order to make the stripe magic happen. Amazing? We think so!
Yarns are dyed with color fast acid dyes in a smoke free environment
