This design is intended to represent the Visuddha Chakra located at the throat This chakra is associated with verbal expression, attentive listening, sense of purpose, and the ability to project one's creativity in the world.
The ring depicts the 16-petaled Lotus. Each of the 'petals,' as Agus has depicted the chakra, appears as a Lotus bud. The stick ornament is a stylized version of a double Lotus in bloom.
