Understanding the construction of your knit stitches is a very important of your knitting work.  
1.  Twisted Stitches:  Recognizing, avoiding and fixing twisted stitches
2.  Dropped Stitches:  Pick up those dropped stitches to save your work. 
3.  Removing extra stitches:  Learn different ways to correct those extra stitches
4.  Tinking: Learn the process of knitting backwards to easily fix mistakes
