Beginner Knitting Class

NOTE: This series restarts the first Tuesday of every other month.
Learn all the basics of knitting that you need to get started. This course covers the following:
- Fiber types and care and how to read a label
- Knit Gauge
- Basic stitches (knit/purl)
- Basic stitch patterns (garter, stockinette, and ribbing)
- Multiple increasing and decreasing stitches
- Different types of cast-on and bind-off techniques
Dates: First, Second, Third and Fourth Tuesdays every other month.
Materials available in shop. Please arrive early to select your choices!
Time: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Yarn: 1 skein of light colored worsted weight wool yarn in a light color— Cascade 220 or 220 superwash.
Needles: US size 7 or 8 circular needles with at least 24” cable, stitch markers, yarn needle
