So you want to make a hat or (gasp!) even socks?! Well, you’re going to have to learn to knit in the round!
This one-hour class will show you how to use double pointed needles as well as the magic loop method of knitting in the round. Students will be able to practice using both methods. We will also discuss reading charts for knitting in the round. Build the confidence you need to start going around in circles!
Duration: One, one-hour session.
Yarn: 1 skein of light colored worsted weight wool yarn in a light color— Cascade 220 or 220
superwash is recommended.
Materials: US size 7 or 8 circular needles with at least 32” cable, stitch markers, double pointed
needles will be provided for use during class.
Skills Required: Ability to cast-on, knit, and purl. Willingness to learn!
