“Dungarees” yarn is spun from recycled jeans!
Used jeans are cut to remove zippers, buttons, and grommets.
The jeans are fed into a machine which reduces them to fibers, which are then baled for spinning.
The “fleece” is spun and the denim fibers are mixed with recycled cotton fibers.
The resulting soft cotton yarn feels good in more ways than one!
