Spring Fever!

Spring has truly sprung in Florida and to fully enjoy the longer days and friendlier weather we are getting OUT & ABOUT!!  Read below about some fun out-of-the-shop stitching experiences.

Our first Spring Fiber Fling Retreat was such fun that we are already planning a "Falling into Fiber" Retreat for this upcoming October so be sure to watch for future developments!  Also, a special thank you to Olive & Two Ewe Studios for their retreat collaboration.  We are excited to have them back featuring their amazing workshop "The Fiberista's Guide to the Universe of Hand Dyed Yarns" which will be available for all!

Shop Developments

Events!

SheepWalk!
Thursday, April 25th and May 29th at our Drop-In Fiber Social (3-8 p.m.)

Mark your calendar for the last Thursday of each month to strut your finished projects on the woolly Sheepwalk!  Share your experiences, successes and challenges with different patterns and fibers while we applaud your beautiful work! Sharing typically starts between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm.
All participants are entered in a drawing for a She Sells Yarn Gift Certificate!  If that's not encouragement to shake your tail feathers and flash some fleece, then I don't know what is!

Hailee models her knitted flounce skirt made by Grandma Ilona as she helps with the drawing and Helen is sporting the beautiful Contrast top made by the talented Karen Gagne with Isager cotton!

Local Yarn Shop Day 2019! Saturday, April 27th
Local Yarn Shop Day is a chance to show your LYS some LOVE!  But, it is also an opportunity for She Sells Yarn to show appreciation for all your support :-)  Join us to enter our LYS2019 drawing, receive free patterns with purchase of Wonderland Yarns' exclusive #LYS2019 colorway, and enjoy a Saturday Sundae (while the ice cream lasts!).

We are specially opening the shop for a fun event and lunch featuring the "Fiberista's Guide to the Universe of Hand Dyed Yarn" workshop with Michelle Christoph of Olive & Two Ewe Studios fame.  You won't want to miss this awesome workshop explaining everything you need to know about working with hand dyed yarns... reading your skein, choosing patterns and projects, understanding the dyeing process, and caring for your precious hand dyed treasures!
